Jester to oversee culinary operations at Deep Blue at Kitty Knight

Jamestown Hospitality Group is excited to announce a collaboration with renowned celebrity chef Robbie Jester, who is returning to his hometown roots and will be overseeing the culinary operations at Deep Blue at Kitty Knight in Galena, MD.

Born and raised in Galena and best known for his appearances on Netflix's Pressure Cooker, Guy’s Grocery Games, and Beat Bobby Flay, Jester has garnered numerous accolades throughout his career, including Best Chef Upstate Delaware three consecutive years, Best BBQ Restaurant, and Rising Star Chef of the Delaware Restaurant Association.

"We are honored to welcome chef Robbie Jester to Deep Blue at Kitty Knight," said Paul Bouchard, Chief Operating Officer, JHG. With his deep-rooted connection to the area and dedication to culinary excellence, Jester is poised to elevate the dining experience at Deep Blue at Kitty Knight, which is located just 20 minutes from Middletown, DE and offers breathtaking views of the Sassafras River.

“From the time I was a kid and would hear the stories of when my dad ran it, to enjoying it and its unbelievable view as an adult, I've always loved this restaurant," said Jester. "I'm beyond excited to get started with the team here and highlight all the things I love about Eastern Shore food. I’m eager for the chance to reignite the enduring history and charm of Kitty Knight. It feels like home.”

Jester's passion for kitchens and delicious food led him to pursue formal training at the Culinary Institute of America. With a career spanning various local restaurants and legendary establishments such as DuPont Country Club, Hotel DuPont, and Piccolina Toscana, Chef Jester's culinary expertise is unmatched.
