FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS

Pop-up event featuring Italian-inspired small plates

No meal tastes as good as one enjoyed with the people you love. That was the inspiration for our latest pop-up event, featuring Skyler Bouchard, recipe developer and founder of the cooking blog, Dining with Skyler, and her uncle, Jamestown Hospitality Group managing partner Paul Bouchard. Join them on Sunday, May 21, beginning at 5 p.m. for an Italian-inspired Sunday supper featuring a hearty menu of small plates that will rival your Nonna’s kitchen.

This limited-seating event will take place at Tonic Seafood & Steak, located in downtown Wilmington at 111 W. 11thStreet. For $89per person, guests will be greeted with a glass of bubbly upon arrival and enjoy a variety of mouth-watering dishes, including caprese, scampi, pasta, filet, and panna cotta. Suggested wine pairings and the full bar menu will be available for purchase. Gratuity is included. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.tonicsns.com/skyler.

Skyler’s career began in 2012, when she traveled the world studying cuisine and reviewing restaurants as a hobby. From there, she began to consult with restaurants on their social media and menu development, began a baking business and taught herself to cook. Now she is a professional cook, recipe developer and on-air host, with a passion for creating flavorful and accessible recipes for her highly engaged blog and Instagram account. She’s also taken her cooking skills to larger networks and hosted segments on the Today Show, Food Network, Amazon, Cooking Channel and more.

“I was fortunate to grow up in a loving, food-obsessed family and learn the ins and outs of the kitchen from my Uncle Paul,” said Skyler. “Those experiences as a child shaped who I am today, so to be able to come back to my roots and into the kitchen with him for this event is so special and will be an evening to remember for all who join us.”
